This is a campus activist.
I attend the University of Winnipeg, studying criminal justice, sociology and psychology. I am an executive member of the U of W Criminal Justice Students' Association. I believe that crime policies should be based on research and reason as opposed to ideology and fear. I advocate for "smart" not "tough" crime policies. I am supportive of rehabilitative and restorative justice. I advocate for anti poverty strategies, crime prevention initiatives, anti discrimination, equality for all and human rights and freedoms for ALL (not just the elite middle and upper classes). I am strongly opposed to Conservatism ideology.
