Vegetarian Resource Center P. O. Box 38-1068 Cambridge, Massachusetts 02238 United States 617-571-4794Making Connections for Plant-Based Diets -- since 1993.
Historically, we have started the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival and World Vegetarian Day on the Boston Common, before passing the BVFF to the Boston Vegetarian Society.
We find tasks to be done in closing gaps in the resources of the vegetarian community, recruit capable, qualified, talented, energetic, dedicated volunteers to develop whatever resources or networks are needed to close that gap, then find another organization to maintain any new structures that emerge from our efforts (as we will with BVFF for BVS).
Current visions include developing a robust lore of pro-vegan advocacy music; retirement resources for aging vegetarians; developing financial resources for making indigenous vegetarian organizations financially self-sustaining; and more. This is a non-campus group.
