Bio
Tracia Banuelos is a senior double majoring in Human Resource Management and Psychology, with minors in Women’s Studies, Honors, and Management, while pursuing certificates in Tilford Diversity Students and Community Psychology. On campus, she serves as the Diversity Task Force Chair and Honors College Senator in Student Government Association. Additionally, she is in the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program, a member of Student Ambassador Society, serves on the Fairmount College Advisory Council, Honors Student Council, Community Engagement Team for WSU’s Community Psychology Association, and President of the Society for Human Resource Management. Banuelos has been on the Dean’s List, received two awards for 200+ hours of Community Engagement, won 2015-2016 Outstanding New Member for Student Ambassador Society, and served in various leadership and mentorship capacities receiving certificates for each program.

During her time at WSU, Banuelos has interned at the City of Wichita, the Office of First Year Programs, Spirit AeroSystems, the Community Engagement Institute, an Honors College Undergraduate Fellow, and currently interns at Airbus.

Upon graduation, Banuelos aspires to obtain her PhD in Community Psychology, and focus on research in youth development, women’s rights, and advocacy. Banuelos is dedicated to social justice, access to resources and opportunity for underprivileged and underserved populations, and elevating the standard and quality of education amongst these groups.
