The purpose of the Farm Animal Welfare Network (FAWN) is to provide a resource and activity group for University of Iowa students and community members concerned about the mistreatment of animals in factory farms. Activities will include public outreach and education campaigns such as sponsoring ads around campus promoting vegetarian/vegan living, hosting information tables about factory farms, participating in campus leafletting projects, as well as providing a social outlet for students to meet like-minded individuals.
This is a campus group.
