United StatesComing off the successful March for Women’s Lives in the nation’s capital this past spring, we are proud to announce the Campaign for Women's Lives.
In April of 2004, more than 1,300 of the nation’s leading women’s, civil rights, health, and faith organizations mobilized for the largest demonstration on the National Mall in U.S. History. Over one million women and men of all ages, races, incomes, ethnicities and faiths marched to the White House and U.S. Capitol to demand that all women have equal access to critical women’s health services, birth control (including emergency contraception), and safe abortions.
The Campaign for Women’s Lives has launched to address the unmistakable show of public support for reproductive rights, health and self-determination exhibited at the March.
