233 N. Pleasant St. Suite 32 Amherst, Massachusetts 01002 United States 800-664-8647The National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness was inspired by the belief that students are a critical force in the fight against Hunger and Homelessness. Established in 1985 by the state PIRGs and USA for Africa, the Campaign has developed several national programs, helped schools establish innovative local projects, served as a clearinghouse of information and contacts, and trained students to be more effective organizers and advocates. Today, the Campaign sustains the largest national coalition of students and community members working to address the issues of hunger and homelessness through education, service, and advocacy. In the past nineteen years, we have mobilized countless volunteers and raised more than $1.5 million for hunger and homelessness relief efforts. This is a campus group.
