We are an interfaith organization committed to active nonviolence as a transforming way of life and as a means of radical change. We educate, train, build coalitions, and engage in nonviolent actions locally, nationally, and globablly. The FOR was founded in 1915. There are over 80 local FOR groups and 15 faith based peace fellowships in the US affiliated with FOR. FOR is part of the International FOR, which has chapters and affiliates in over forty countries, and on every continent. This is a non-campus group.
