530/897-0714The Earth Peace group of Butte College is a faculty founded organization of students and faculty for human and environmental harmony. Christine Wood, faculty founder and psych teacher, started this group last April when our school was not going to have an Earth Day celebration, and we have since involved into a union of students and faculty who are working to make our campus anti-war, and raise the awareness of the students and faculty on this campus on the matters of war, democracy (or lack thereof)and solidarity. We are still a new group and are learning how to become more efficient and effective. We invite all to open up dialogue, offer suggestions, or inform us of things we may be able to help with.
