Student-driven and supported by the national office of Peace Action (www.peace-action.org), SPAN's current "Flunk the War Machine" campaign challenges the increasingly invasive and deceptive military recruiting in schools and connections between weapons manufacturers and universities. SPAN also organizes around Peace Action campaigns to end the war in Iraq and to halt the development of new nuclear weapons.This is a campus group.
