The group was started by health students in response to students' concern about growing health disparities and the failure of their educations to prepare them to address them. HealthSTAT fills that gap in health education. Just as importantly, it does so by bringing together students from across geographic and professional lines.
Currently, medical, nursing, public health, and undergraduate students from Emory, Medical College of Georgia, Morehouse, Mercer, and University of Georgia take advantage of the opportunities that HealthSTAT offers.This is a campus group.
