The Om Project is a non-profit, secular student-run organization that seeks to educate and empower female orphans around the world by creating, implementing, and sustaining innovative educational initiatives in orphanages in developing and underdeveloped countries in Africa, Asia, Central America, Eastern Europe, and South America. Essentially, The Om Project strives to combat gender discrimination.
The Om Project strives to show young girls the opportunities that exist beyond the confines of the orphanage. The Om Project provides orphanages with computers, Internet access, educational CDs, and an electronic encyclopedia. Our pilot project orphanage is located in south India.
This is a campus group.
