The Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) aims to enhance Davidson College's understanding of issues related to sexuality. The GSA represents those members of the Davidson College community who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) as well as straight allies. Those involved include students, faculty, and staff. The GSA advocates for increasing awareness and acceptance of GLBTQ issues in all aspects of campus life. The GSA also works to provide a safe and supportive environment for all GLBTQ members of the Davidson College community so that all may feel as comfortable as possible in their respective sexualities. Finally, the GSA aspires to be entirely reflective of and responsive to the range of needs and identities in Davidson College's queer community.
