United StatesWe are a grassroots, South Puget Sound area animal rights group. We assert the right of animals to live their lives in a natural setting, free from the exploitation and domination of humans, which include the uses of animals for food, clothing, entertainment, and experimentation. We advocate a lifestyle that avoids animal exploitation whenever possible. We seek to reduce animal suffering by uniting, inspiring, and motivating animal rights activists in the South Sound region; and by influencing public opinion via the methods of protests, demonstrations, marches, boycotts, education and outreach, informational tabling, lectures, dinners and potlucks, networking, and support. We also exist to offer support and resources for vegetarians, vegans, and the veg-curious. We welcome meaningful reforms that ease the suffering of animals but in the end demand nothing short of total animal liberation.This is a non-campus group.
