Here at Mizzou, our chapter focuses on affecting as much as change as possible on the student level. Given Missouri's deplorable record on the death penalty, much of our recent work has centered on that subject. Our biggest event of last year was a three-week "Refugee Camp." During the weekdays in this period we camped out on campus in order to raise money for the United Nations High Commision on Refugees, as well as providing numerous educational opportunities. As a group we are always looking for interesting ways to raise awareness and affect social change. We hope not to bore others to death in the process.
