New ZealandStudents for Environmental action (SEA) aims to promote environmental awareness in our local community. We have strong conections with Forest and Bird, DOC, the yellow eyed penguin trust, Student greens, Save Animals from exploitation (SAFE), Food not Bombs and Greenpeace. Promotion of environmental issues includes events as diverse as protesting against bottom trawling, participating in native forest restoration projects, helping with university recyling and protesting against open cast coal mines.
