In observance of the 60th Anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Peace Action has organized a weekend's worth of special events, kicking off with this Friday night gathering at Java Green Cafe (www.javagreen.net), located on 19th St between K and L.
Musical guests include DC's own Gist (www.gistmusic.net), alternative hip-hop band Dr. Birthday and other surprise guests, as well as appearances from DJ Mayday and the boys of NYC's Boneyard Soundsystem.
So come and hang out with us, listen to some progressive music, enjoy some fresh munchies courtesy of Java Green, and meet up with other like-minded Peace Actionistas. Hope to see you all there!
