United StatesOur GROW will be a weekend for students within approximately one hour of Albany, NY to learn the skills needed to defeat apathy and build strong, cohensive student groups on their campuses. Covering a host of issues concerning students, such as poverty housing, substance abuse, labor concerns, issues of race, class, gender, sexuality, and relgion as bases for discrimination, as well as a host of other issues.
Additionally, the conference will offer an excellent opportunity for students to network with students working on similar issues on other campuses. Further, we will have a variety of workshops that will teach something new to everyone in attendance.Geographical Scope: State Conference |
