Description
On May 3, 2005, the Women's Foundation of California embarked on a month-long tour throughout the state. At each stop, we will host listening sessions to bring together diverse members of each local community including community leaders, government officials, community-based organizations and funders. These events will provide opportunities for women, girls and their families to share local challenges and to discuss solutions for change. In the Fall, we will release a report in Sacramento summarizing the Tour's findings.

Keynote Speaker: Dolores C. Huerta
Dolores C. Huerta, co-founder and First Vice President Emeritus of the United Farm Workers of America, AFL-CIO (UFW) and current President of the Dolores Huerta Foundation, has played a major role in the American civil rights movement for over forty years.
