At each stop, we will host listening sessions to bring together diverse members of each local community including community leaders, government officials, community-based organizations and funders. These events will provide opportunities for women, girls and their families to share local challenges and to discuss solutions for change. In the Fall, we will release a report in Sacramento summarizing the Tour's findings.
Keynote speaker: Dr. Anita Marks, a board-certified Family Practice physician at Kaiser Permanente's Glendale Medical Office. Her reputation as a leader in the field of women's health has been earned through several years of advocacy and leadership.
Guest Spearker: Erin Brockovich Ellis, Erin Brockovich Ellis, Director of Environmental Research at Masry and Vititoe, is an environmental activist and public health investigator. Erin is perhaps best known for her solo investigation of a Chromium 6 leak from Pacific Gas and Electric Company's Compressor Station that had contaminated groundwater.
