Starting Date: 01-21-2005 Ending Date: 01-23-2005 Washington, District of Columbia United StatesBuilding the Progressive
Movement inside and outside
the Democratic Party!
Dear Friends,
Progressive Democrats of America (PDA) will be hosting the Progressive Democratic Summit in January 2005. The Summit will be filled with experienced speakers in the progressive movement, informational workshops, and other useful information for progressive activists and organizations both inside and outside the Democratic Party. It will also include meetings with progressive congressional leaders, state Progressive Democratic Caucus breakouts, and panel discussions and workshops. Together we can devise a workable strategy to take back our democracy, our economy, and our institutions from the moneyed interests and the military-industrial complex now controlling them. The timing of the Summit, during the weekend of the Presidential Inaugural Celebration, is significant. This is a critical time for creating a powerful grassroots presence in our nations capitol and sending a clear message that the Progressive movement is alive and growing. It will be a gathering you wont
want to miss.
A schedule of panels and workshops will be posted at www.pdamerica.org on December 31th..
Activities will begin at 2pm on Friday and will end at 5pm on Sunday.
Be part of the solution. Join us in Washington on on Jan. 22nd.
