Color of Violence III will provide an opportunity for women of color to develop and share organizing strategies to address this global assault on women of color. We will share strategies on how to stop this war on all fronts, including: domestic violence; sexual violence; denial of reproductive rights; police brutality; the �War on Terror�; poverty; violence against bisexual, lesbian, intersex, transgender, and Two Spirit women of color; attacks on immigrants� rights and Indian treaty rights; gentrification and denial of affordable housing.
INCITE! is a national activist organization of radical feminists of color advancing a movement to end violence against women of color and their communities through direct action critical dialogue and grassroots organizing.
The Color of Violence is an international gathering and action of women of color workers, organizers, artists, students, and activists organizing to stop the war on women of color. The goals of Color of Violence III are to:
Examine the various forms of violence committed against women of color.
Mobilize women of color from diverse walks of life, throughout the country to organize around all forms of violence in their lives.
