EnviroCitizen is holding a series of training sessions and action days at Suffolk University in Boston this July and August. Come out and learn important political skills to protect your environments and communities! We'll be holding sessions in lobbying, non-violent direct action, Vote Environment, and media.

Wednesday, July 14: Lobbying (room: McDermott conference room)

1:00 p.m. TRAINING - Learn about the roles of lobbyists, how to talk with your representatives, and how to develop an effective lobbying strategy!

2:30 p.m ACTION - We'll head to the Massachusetts State House and make our voices heard, urging our Senators and Representatives to support a pending Environmental Justice bill!

Wednesday, July 21: Non-Violent Direct Action (room: McDermott conference room)

1:00 p.m. TRAINING - Learn effective methods of organizing as a group, taking action peacefully, and distributing information at a given location to promote your cause!

Wednesday, July 28: Vote Environment (room: TBD)

1:00 p.m. TRAINING - Learn ways we can make the environment a high-profile election issue, the very week the Democratic National Convention hits Boston!

2:30 p.m. ACTION - Come with us as we head into the surrounding community and register people to vote!
