The Southwest Regional USFT Fair Trade Conference will strengthen the work students are currently doing on our their own coffee and other Fair Trade campaigns, expand the Fair Trade student movement to other campuses and create an infrastructure for students and universities in the Southwest to coordinate their efforts and collaborate with one another.

United Students for Fair Trade (USFT) is a national organization which coordinates student Fair Trade campaigns from Alaska to Florida. USFT will collaborate with Trinity University in hosting a two day conference that will establish a regional group to coordinate and educate campuses on Fair Trade work. This two-day conference will bring together students already involved in Fair Trade organizing as well as new students who hope to learn about Fair Trade and bring campaigns to their universities.
