The four-day, family-friendly event combines performance, learning exchanges, late-night cabarets, visual art installations, ROOTS business meetings, unscheduled retreat space, and, this year, a blow out 40th anniversary ROOTS Reunion celebration.
ROOTS Week is the place where we build community, try out new ideas, share our work, think critically about our processes, move the conversation on art, activism, and community forward, strengthen our alliances with the movements that are changing the South, and seek to embody the just world we are working to create the remaining 51 weeks of the year.
