United StatesPeople’s Music Network for Songs of Freedom and Struggle invites you to join us for the PMN Winter Gathering in Greenfield, MA, at the Greenfield Middle School, from Friday to Sunday, January 23-25, 2015.
A full and exciting weekend is coming together! We’ll have our Friday night concert – featuring Kim and Reggie Harris and many other performers – in the Greenfield Middle School Auditorium, starting at 7:30pm on January 23, 2015. Throughout the weekend, we’ll have educational workshops, songswaps, one-on-one mentoring sessions with Kim and Reggie, and a Saturday night round robin – all highlighting the role of music in progressive social change. Expect lots of opportunities to share music and to collaborate on ways to bring music for progressive politics out into the world.
We already have a great group of local musicians and activists getting involved with planning the program and logistics. Please contact Ben Grosscup if you would like to get involved in the planning process.
