Cabrillo College’s 4th Annual Social Justice Conference is scheduled for Friday, April 30th, and Saturday, May 1st. The opening reception will be held on Friday evening at the Watsonville Center, while the all-day conference will be held on Saturday at the Aptos campus.

The two day conference will include guest speakers, break-out sessions, a children's fair, a community fair and a key-note address by the Honorable Cruz Reynoso.



Cabrillo College students, faculty, staff and administrators will present research and creative projects concerning social justice issues, while community-based organizations will distribute information about their work toward social justice during the lunchtime community fair.



We are pleased to announced that Luis Alejo will speak at the opening reception, Russ Jones will open our Saurday program, while the Honorable Cruz Reynoso will present the keynote address.

The "Children's Faire" will provide child-centered activities with social justice themes during both break-out sessions. All ages welcome, but a parent or legal guardian must be present.



Free and open to the public. A light lunch will be served, also at no cost.
