Description
In reaction to the current economic recession, Vanderbilt students are hosting an interdisciplinary economic conference called "The State of the Economy: The Crisis, My Life, Our Future." It's aimed at increasing educated awareness of the issue and fostering a sense of financial responsibility for the future. We plan on creating a call to action after the conference is over. We are opening it up to college students, graduate students, and other schools in the region.

The conference will be from 11 AM to 5 PM Saturday, March 28th and topics will include how the crisis is effecting the global economy, Vanderbilt and the state of Tennessee, and the Job Market.

Panelists include notable Vanderbilt professors, the Deputy Governor, the State Senate Majority leader, and more.
