Bring your canine friend – or walk for a pet who prefers to stay at home – and enjoy a scenic stroll around the lake at beautiful Constitution Gardens, located just north of the World War II Memorial, at the corner of Constitution Ave. and 17th St. NW.
All proceeds benefit the lifesaving adoption, humane education, and spay/neuter programs of WHS and The HSUS. You can raise even more money to help animals by asking friends and family to sponsor you. As a bonus, the top individual fundraiser and members of the top fundraising team will win a great prize!
EVENT DETAILS
Date: Sunday, October 5, 2008
Time: Check-in starts at 10 am; pre-walk activities begin at 11 am. The walk begins at noon.
Place: Constitution Gardens, at 17th St. NW and Constitution Ave., just north of the World War II Memorial on the National Mall.
Cost: $25 for individuals; $60 for a family of 4 (no more than 2 adults ages 18 or older)
