On Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at 6 pm, Atlanta WAND will be holding its annual Mother’s Day for Peace event at Sisters Chapel on the campus of historic Spelman College.
Our Keynote Speaker and 2008 Honoree will be Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winner Alice Walker.
We will also be honoring local activists for peace; Alice Lovelace and Jackie Adams.
The reception will take place from 6 pm to 7 pm in the Cosby Center Lobby.
The program will begin at 7:15 in Sisters Chapel.
