BASIC PEACEKEEPER TRAINING.

Learn peacekeeper skills to help our rallies, marches, and other events be safe and effective. This training will help you understand the roles and functions of a peacekeeper. You will learn and practice basic skills for several kinds of situations. Anyone who wants to serve as a peacekeeper should take this training. Many people who have taken it previously choose to take it again to deepen their understanding and strengthen their skills in a variety of situations. Trained peacekeepers can help our events be safe and satisfying for participants and successful in achieving our goals. They also empower the movement as we show that we can help provide our own security. This training is sponsored by United For Peace of Pierce County which intends for this event to help provide a stronger and larger group of peacekeepers in this area. UFPPC also wants this training to be both for people who have had peacekeeper experience previously and for those who have not done this work and want to be trained to do so. Donations welcomed and appreciated, toward covering cost of training and publicity. UFPPC wants all interested individuals to be included in this important training. info David Lambert 253-759-2280 or dmlamb@harbornet.com
