Description
On Saturday, April 5, 2003, M.E.Ch.A. de SDCC aims to encourage and inspire young minds with stimulating workshops and a number of passionate speakers. Workshops, interactive caucuses, inspirational speakers, cultura and, most importantly, the youth will unite in one exciting educational experience through our Chican@ Youth Conference (CYC).
The CYC is an opportunity for high school students to unite, learn, interact and establish a sense of solidarity. M.E.Ch.A. believes educating the youth is one of the most powerful tools in creating change in society. It is our greatest hope that students come away from the CYC not only more informed but with a greater sense of hope for the future and their active role in it.
