“Ethics of Emerging Technologies” will provide students with a unique opportunity to explore ethical dilemmas in emerging technologies. Participants will have the opportunity to register for one of three thought-provoking tracks: genomics and privacy; nanotechnology; and design, robotics, and quality of life. Emerging technologies have the potential to enhance our lives, but, left unexamined, they also pose ethical challenges.
