The goal of this protest is to shut down the legislature telephone system through a constant and massive flood of calls. The call in will officially begin at 9 am and end at midnight. If you get a busy signal, go on to the next number. Call as many legislators as many times as you. �I�m calling to express my outrage at your support of Israel, its policies of collective punishment, illegal colonization, apartheid and murder. Though speaking all the time about the �Islamist threat�, Americans don�t understand the obvious link between the massacres perpetuated by the Israeli army in Gaza and the counterattack by Lebanese activists.
Since September of 2000, Israel has killed 4091 Palestinians, including 754 children. They have injured well over 30,000.
Israel has killed 10 foreign citizens in Palestine, including American 23-year-old Rachael Corrie, murdered while demonstrating against Israel�s demolition of Palestinian homes.
Since September of 2000, 0 Israeli homes have been demolished by Palestinians while 4,170 Palestinian homes have been demolished by Israel.
Israel is holding 9,599 Palestinian prisoners, including 122 women and 342 children. Palestinians are holding a single Israeli combat soldier.
Your support of Israeli war crimes is obscene.
Unilateral use of force causes an escalation of violence, and will lead to regional war. No financial interest can justify the death that war will bring.
The U.S. government gives over $15 million dollars per day to Israel and its military in direct violation of our own foreign aid laws. This is our war against Palestine, our war against the Lebanese people. Take a stand for human rights and international law. To construe Israeli policies as �self defense� is na�ve, arrogant and racist. End this now.
