This summer Student Pugwash USA Presents Policy Portal: A Science and Technology Policy Series for Interns. Join other Washington interns and leading experts to discuss today's top science and technology topics! The first event, "Hot on the Hill," will take place Friday, June 16 from noon to one at the Center for Nonprofit Advancement. It will address the top science policy issues facing Capitol Hill lawmakers this year and what scientists and science groups are doing to make an impact. The speakers are Michael Holland, Designee to the Chairman, Subcommittee on Energy, House Committee on Science and Benn Tannenbaum, Senior Program Associate, Center for Science, Technology and Security Policy, American Association for the Advancement of Science. Come learn how science & tech policy is made in DC! A pizza lunch will be served.
