Campus Progress and The Nation are pleased to announce that on Friday, June 2, 2006 we will be co-hosting a Student Journalism Conference at the Center for American Progress in Washington, DC.

Student journalists from across the country will have the opportunity to come together for one day full of workshops, panels, and trainings featuring top professional editors, reporters, and cultural critics including Katrina Vanden Heuvel, Victor Navasky and Jonathan Schell. Topics will range from the role of the press in democracy to skill sessions on investigative reporting and opinion writing. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply, but space is limited, so don't wait!

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until May 15th.
