Earlier this year, Weyerhaeuser was charted to be the number one destroyer of old-growth forests with headquarters located in the U.S.. 2 years ago the Boise Cascade Logging Company -now taking a new name under OfficeMax- gave a public promise not to log old-growth forests, and privately went back on that agreement LAST WEEK. And the Kimberly Clark (Kleenex) company is destroying old-growth, too. Nov. 3rd is a national day of action in order to expose these companies through long-term campaigns that are holding them accountable.
