Farmworkers in NY State are excluded from the following:
*UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE
*DISABILITY INSURANCE
*OVERTIME PAY
*COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
*A DAY OF REST
Under the Farmworker Fair Labor Practices Act farmworkers would have the same basic rights as every other worker in NY State.
NY’s legislators have the opportunity to make things right in ‘05! Grant NY’s Farmworkers Equal Rights!
