First and foremost, The Giving Garden will be a
source of fresh food for the EMU community and
local nonprofits dealing with hunger issues in the
immediate surrounding community.
We are a dedicated group of EMU students, faculty
and staff who wish to provide an opportunity for
collaborative education about environmental
sustainability, personal nutrition, organic gardening
and the impacts of food systems in the global
world and local community.
The Giving Garden will provide a way for students,
faculty, staff, community members and alumni to
connect to EMU in a different way, over the course
of generations.
The Giving Garden is about
