Notes
The National Youth Rights Association is at the forefront of the growing movement to advocate for several key rights that are denied to young people. We push to get rid of curfews, lower the voting age, protect student rights, lower the drinking age, fight against age discrimination and promote emancipation rights. It is our belief, and that of our 5,000 members that there is a great lack of respect towards young people. Too many attempts to control, and none to understand. In addition to changing laws we hope to change how the world views young people; it is our hope that one day all people will grow up in homes that are truly loving, learn in schools that are truly educational and live lives that are truly free.
