United StatesIdealists United (IU) is a student run organization founded and staffed by the motivated and inspiring students of the University of Connecticut. We are dedicated to spreading human rights education, awareness, activism and advocacy throughout the world in a new way. Idealists United focuses on accomplishing its mission by creating a stimulating environment which allows the IU team to reach a more diverse audience. This technique permits Idealists United to engage many individuals who would otherwise not be connected to the human rights movement. Idealists United uses out of the box thinking to inspire and motivate individuals to get involved in the human rights movement. It is our goal to see a world, not only aware of human rights, but a world where human rights are priority number one, for every man, woman and child on Earth.This is a campus group.
