Notes
Northwestern Univeristy's only student evironmental organization, SEED exists to educate, research, and do service work to affect the state of the environment and to support progressive environmental movements and directions. As the only environmental group on campus, SEED's focus encompasses a variety of activities from large-scale event programming (conferences, concerts, debates), to campus sustainability improvement efforts, to prairie restoration work, to political activism, to general education. There is really so much to be done on this campus! Look for announcements about our annual environmental conference in November. In the past we have had speakers usch as Ralph Nader, Amroy Lovins, Winona LaDuke, Gaylord Nelson, and more.
This is a campus group.
