Notes
Feminist Majority Leadership Alliances are student run, nationally affiliated campus groups. Leadership Alliances constitute the largest permanent network of young feminist activists in the world, and provide participants with opportunities to develop their leadership and organizing skills. Our definition of feminism is simple yet broad: "the policy, practice or advocacy of political, economic, and social equality for women." A feminist is any person -- woman or man, girl or boy -- who advocates feminism. Our goal is to promote feminism on our campus and in our community, to eradicate all forms of violence against women and more generally to make the world more women-friendly. Our major events have included a Rock for Choice, a couple of Take Back the Nights and a bunch of panels on a variety of topics including domestic violence, sweatshops, worker's rights, eating disorders, etc.
This is a campus group.
