United StatesNYC Student Discount Initiative for AIDS, or NYC SDIA is a student run not for profit group that was started this year by a group of NYU students. Our mission is to create programs and events to raise money for HIV/AIDS relief in the developing world. We currently have planned and sponsored a series of 8 poetry slams around New York City and Philadelphia, and our main program is a discount card that can be purchased by any college student, that is good for the academic year, and usable at over 35 participating vendors in lower Manhattan.This is a campus group.
