United StatesBUILD is an online resource collection for Philadelphia youth.
Because military recruiters have a seemingly predatory interest in Philadelphia's schools, BUILD's goal is to support Philly youth in leading self-directed lives by offering alternatives to military service. In addition we are a resource for young people who are marginalized by the school system, such as young mothers, queer youth, youth of color, economically disadvantaged youth, and any other youth seeking alternatives to Philadelphia's corrupt school system.
We have collected options, services and opportunities for education, housing, work, travel, health, and other supports. Due to our rotten-ass system, these resources are often inadequate. So we've also included resources for struggling to change the system.
