DESCRIPTION
Into the Fields is a ten-week program for college students to work for fairness in our agricultural industries. Through the program, college students from diverse backgrounds spend the summer working full-time with farmworker agencies to promote greater respect and justice for the people who supply food for our tables.

Into the Fields Interns are matched with community-based farmworker
advocacy organizations.
Positions are available in the following fields:
Union Organizing
Community Organizing
Education Policy & Social Services
Legal Aid
Health Clinics
Health Research

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
-College students from farmworker families nationwide
or
-Students currently attending a college or university in the Carolinas
-Spanish skills are required for most placements.
