Participatory Democracy at the University of Sydney, 1960–
Description
In 1973 the student movement caused the Philosophy department to be "democratised" and then split. The Government department was also rocked by activism. It discusses "departmental revolutions" (an interesting concept that I have not heard of before!) -- implementing democracy/change at the department level. This could be a great step in moving towards democratic universities.
A thesis by Lewis D'Avigdor. 120 pages. 2011.
