Isaac Grody-Patinkin, is a (former) National Organizer for United Students for Fair Trade and a forth year student at New York University. After graduating high school he worked as a teacher’s assistant in rural Ecuador, and as the international coordinator for a small scale community development initiative called Proyecto Minga. Inspired by the community of Proyecto Minga, who are in the process of forming a cocoa cooperative, he has dedicated himself to building the Student Fair Trade movement, and an economy based on justice not exploitation. He works with students, faith based organizations, coffee companies, food service providers, NGOs, farmworkers, and small-scale farmer cooperatives to raise the awareness, demand, and celebration of Fair Trade.
