Bio

My name is Egbeleke Aderopo, a student of Agronomy Department, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology(LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Nigeria. I am a well known student activist as a result of leadership positions I have held in the past. Presently (as of 2004) I am the Student Union President of my University. I set a record of the only Nigerian Student to become president of a students union twice because i was the president of my University 2001/2002. In 1999 when I was the treasurer of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), I was part of the struggle that chased out the military in government which led to the present Nascent Democracy in Nigeria. I have experienced series of Victimization from both the University management and Federal Government such as illegal detention and suspension because of my activities against anti-masses policies.

I believe that participating in campus activism will make me to acquire more knowledge, learn others' cultures and customs and cross-fertization of ideas in order to solve problems that are affecting Students and youths in the world. I believe so much in youth taking charge of leadership positions.I so desire to communicate and share views with you all
