so near to where their State Capitol is located.
They have begun to learn how to call on members of the Assembly and Senate to lobby and advocate on the issue of reducing gun violence.
They were invited to stand with Speaker Sheldon's press conference last week that annoucned the passing of key pieces of legislation.
Now, they are the first college student chapter of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence in the state.
Our goal for this year is to find another school to form a chapter. Care to join us?
