Notes
Youth for Justice is the only activist group on campus.

We are few, but dedicated to resisting a culture of violence that takes the forms of pre-emptive war, environmental racism and patriarchy.

We helped contribute to the largest Immigrants rights forum in the country in months in 2006 at WCSU, in which the administration responded with an anti-immigrant forum.(please see videos below for the forum and the response from wcsu)

We have held the ONLY protest at WCSU resisting the war in Iraq.

We are the ONLY student activist group to have the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation speak about the current threats to their autonomy.

We might not have prominent politicians speak at our events, or litter the campus with flyers, but we have been a persistet voice of dissent on campus.

We often focus on issues (mostly local) such as: indigenous & immigrants rights, environmental justice & sustainability, anti-war, anti-globalization, anti-industrialism, women's rights and so on.

We fully support the rights of the Schaghticoke, Paugusset, Quinnipiac and other Indigenous communities to federal recognition and autonomy
